Delete Your RealEdge Account

This page explains how you can request the deletion of your RealEdge account and associated personal data. RealEdge is developed and operated by Ethos Algorithmics LLC (Florida, USA).

How to request account deletion

Send an email to ethosalgorithmics@gmail.com from the email address associated with your RealEdge account.
Use the subject line: RealEdge Account Deletion Request.
Include your account email in the body of the message so we can verify identity and locate your data.
Our team will process your request and confirm completion within 30 days (usually much faster).

Why email confirmation is required: Requesting deletion from the account email address is our way to verify that you own the account. This prevents someone else from wrongfully deleting your account.

What data will be deleted

Upon confirmed deletion, we permanently remove:

Your account credentials (email address, Firebase authentication identifier)
Your personal preferences (notification settings, signal confidence threshold, filter preferences)
Your personal tray (saved signals, positions, and portfolio history)
Your push notification token
Your app-usage counts and activity records associated with your account
Any support conversation records tied to your account

What data may be retained (and why)

We may retain a minimal amount of information for the reasons below, as required or allowed by law:

Purchase and subscription records — retained for up to 7 years to comply with accounting, tax, and financial reporting obligations. These records do not contain your payment card number (Google Play handles payment details).
Anonymized statistical data — de-identified data used for platform performance metrics may be retained indefinitely because it is no longer linked to you.
Security and abuse-prevention logs — retained for up to 90 days for legitimate security purposes (fraud prevention, integrity monitoring).
Legal-hold records — retained if required by applicable law or ongoing legal proceedings.

Requesting deletion of specific data (without deleting the account)

If you prefer to delete only certain data without closing your entire account (for example, clearing your saved tray or push token), email us at ethosalgorithmics@gmail.com with the specific request. Note that some data (such as your email and Firebase user ID) is required for the app to function and cannot be removed while your account remains active.

After deletion

Once deletion is complete:

You will no longer be able to sign in with your account.
Your subscription, if active, will be cancelled through Google Play (you may also cancel independently via your Google Play account settings).
Any active push notifications will stop.
Local data stored on your device (such as cached preferences) will remain until you uninstall the app.

Your rights under privacy laws

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have additional rights (for example, under the California Consumer Privacy Act, the EU/UK General Data Protection Regulation, or Brazil's LGPD), including the right to access, correct, or restrict processing of your personal data.
